📅 Day 1
Colombo – Negombo

Welcome to Sri Lanka! Arrive at Colombo Airport and transfer to the laid-back coastal town of Negombo. Settle in and enjoy your surroundings—Negombo is a charming fishing village with colonial history, historic churches, and a vibrant lagoon.

Negombo – Dambulla

Travel to Dambulla in Sri Lanka’s cultural heartland. Along the way, stop to explore the Dambulla Cave Temples—an awe-inspiring UNESCO site filled with Buddhist statues and ancient murals set inside five rock-cut caves.

Dambulla

Start with a climb to Sigiriya Rock Fortress, an astonishing 5th-century palace perched high on a monolithic rock. Later, enjoy a traditional village visit including a bullock cart ride, catamaran crossing, and a glimpse into local farm life. In the afternoon, head out on safari in Minneriya National Park—famous for its elephant gatherings and rich wildlife.

Dambulla – Kandy

Journey into Sri Lanka’s hill country and stop en route at Matale Spice Garden for an aromatic walk among herbs and spices. Continue on to Kandy, the country’s last royal capital and a scenic city surrounded by jungle-clad hills and tea plantations.

Kandy

Discover the cultural treasures of Kandy on a guided tour.

Visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth, stroll the tranquil Royal Botanical Gardens, and enjoy local gems like the Gem Museum.

Kandy – Nuwara Eliya

Venture further into the cool, misty highlands to Nuwara Eliya—known as “Little England” for its colonial charm.
