TRAVEL THE WORLD IN COMFORT & WITH GOOD COMPANY | SMALL GROUP TOURS FOR WOMEN
Absolutely! Many of the women who travel with us come solo — and often leave with lifelong friends. Our trips are designed to be warm, inclusive, and perfect for connecting with like-minded travellers. We all stick together and look out for one another.
If you'd like to share a room, we’re happy to pair you with another solo traveller (twin beds, of course). Prefer your own space? Just ask us about single-room options.
All our advertised prices are based on twin-share rooms — that means two separate beds. If you're travelling solo, we’ll happily match you with another woman in the group.
Prefer your own space? No problem at all. Single rooms are available for an additional supplement, subject to availability. Just let us know when you book, and we’ll take care of the rest.
Absolutely – in fact, it’s the perfect way to travel for the first time! You’ll be fully supported throughout your trip by an experienced guide with over 20 years in the industry.
We’ll make sure you have all the information you need to feel confident and prepared, and we’re here every step of the way. Your safety, comfort, and enjoyment are our top priorities — so you can simply relax and enjoy the adventure!
Our tours are thoughtfully designed just for women — and we keep our groups small. This means a more personal, relaxed experience, where real connections can flourish.
You’ll be fully escorted by a seasoned travel professional (that’s me, Sinead!), so you’ll always feel supported and in good hands. We travel together as a group, so you're never on your own — unless you want to be! Free time and flexibility are always built in, so you can enjoy a little solo space whenever you need it.
Depending on the type of trip, we take up to 11-16 women.
For example, our Self-Care Weekends are a maximum of 12, and our other tours are usually between 12 and 16.
We’re all about inclusivity and spirit. So, if you’re young at heart and the itinerary excites you, you’re welcome to join us! Our tours are open to women aged 18 and over.
Some trips have a physical activity rating (for example, being able to walk around 10,000 steps a day), but beyond that, ages can vary quite a bit. We actually love it that way!
I always get to know everyone before we travel, so feel free to reach out if you want to chat about whether a particular tour is a good fit for you.
It really comes down to personal preference — large group tours have their perks too! But at SheVentures, we’re passionate about the unique benefits of small group travel.
With fewer travellers, it’s easier to form genuine connections, explore more off-the-beaten-path experiences, and enjoy a more flexible, personalised pace. Smaller groups also tend to have a lighter environmental footprint and the freedom to adapt as we go, making the journey feel more like an adventure with friends than a structured tour!
For most of our international trips, we have an online meeting about 6 weeks before we go - so if you haven't already put a face to my name, then we can 'meet' then, and maybe catch some other faces.
We also have a private online community on Facebook that is perfect for us to connect on. Click here or below to join!
We sure can! Grab the girls, and let us take the stress out of planning the ultimate girls' weekend away or a group overseas trip!
Each trip has a booking form that we require you complete. To secure your place on one of our tours, a deposit is payable. The amount depends on the trip and can be found on the trip page (under the Destinations menu above).
Some trips may require a second payment, but often we simply require a deposit and a final payment.
Other things you may like to consider upon booking are your travel insurance (see below) and flights (also below).
Each trip has different inclusions, and the best place to find those is on the trip page (under the Destinations menu above). In general, all of our tours include accommodation, land transfers and transport, various activities, and most meals.
Not included: flights and travel insurance.
Absolutely! You are not obliged to book them with me, however I do tend to organise most of our traveller's flights. This ensures everything lines up perfectly, with seamless connections, and helps us on tour if airlines make schedule changes or cancellations.
Absolutely! We’d love to hear from you.

And if you're local to Upwey, let’s grab a coffee and chat in person—there’s nothing better than talking travel face-to-face!
We can definitely help with this! Many travellers will head over early and meet us at the first hotel on our tour, or may opt to extend their travels after the tour ends. Let's chat about options! As a very experienced travel agent, I can absolutely assist in creating pre- and post-tour adventures for you.
I fly out of Melbourne and most women will join me on the same flight - we meet at the airport beforehand and travel together!
If you are from another state, you are welcome to fly down to meet us in Melbourne (I can help with this to ensure smooth connections), or you are welcome to meet us at our destination. If you arrive on a different flight, you will still receive transfers to the hotel where we can arrange to meet you!
Bottom line is, whatever you do, I will ensure that it is seamless for you.
We sure can! We’re happy and able to accommodate most food allergies and intolerances — just let us know your needs when you book, and we’ll make the necessary arrangements. If you have any specific concerns, we’re always here to chat and confirm what’s possible.
Should our destination require a visa, we will let you know and take care of arrangements. You may need to fill in forms or obtain passport photos, but we will assist you with this process.
Some visas are obtained upon arrival into a country. If this is the case, we will be there to assist in this process.
Australian passport holders are generally required to have at least six months of validity remaining on their passport from the date they plan to return to Australia. This is a common entry requirement for many countries, and this sometimes applies even if you're just transiting through.
To ensure smooth travel, it's advisable to check the specific entry requirements for each country you plan to visit or transit through. You can find this information on the Smartraveller website, which provides up-to-date travel advice and entry conditions.
If you need assistance verifying passport requirements for a specific destination, feel free to ask! That's the beauty of travelling with SheVentures, we are here to check (and re-check) these finer details!
We can organise your travel insurance. Just ask upon booking and we will assist you in this area. You are welcome to organise your own, of course, but please ensure that it offers fully comprehensive coverage for the region we are travelling to.
We offer installment options to give our travellers time and space to pay. Talk to us about how we can help, or read more below.
